I created my VA business out of a need to get out of the corporate world – and wanting to be my own boss and have full control over my schedule and my time. 

I have learned that determination and grit are necessary to grow any business – especially a business online, but also the ability to know when to pivot or try new things in order to stay on track for your goals. 

Initially, I started creating and posting content to Instagram to find clients, but quickly discovered it was a struggle to find my people and I preferred giving my full attention to my clients directly vs posting multiple times a day at the ‘ideal’ times. So instead of continuing to struggle, I pivoted to Fiverr!

I signed 7 clients in one month when initially launching my VA business, without getting a single lead from social media. All of my clients have either been referrals or from leads on Fiverr. My Instagram has been ‘dormant’ multiple times… and I’ve never consistently posted any content. I currently have a waitlist as I am booked solid, with more than half of my current clients being recurring clients who have been with me from the start. 

Now, I’m able to be home and can work from anywhere (and whenever!) I want to. I get to spend every important moment with my baby boy – and not miss a thing. Those are the biggest wins for me.
